Daniel Deutscher is a strategic CFO and finance leader with more than 15 years of experience helping complex organizations improve financial visibility, strengthen operations, and scale with greater discipline. His background spans construction, restoration, manufacturing, engineering, and professional services, with deep experience in multi-entity businesses operating in private equity-backed and public company environments.
Daniel’s career has focused on building the financial structure and operational rigor needed to support growth. He has led finance and shared services functions, improved cash flow and working capital performance, supported acquisitions and integrations, and helped organizations turn financial data into clearer, faster decision-making. His experience includes job costing, WIP accounting, ASC 606 revenue recognition, KPI development, forecasting, ERP implementation, and finance transformation across operationally complex businesses.
Before joining Preferred CFO, Daniel held senior finance leadership roles including Chief Financial Officer at Trautman & Shreve, Corporate Controller at OneTeam Electric Group, and VP of Shared Services at Commercial Restoration Co. He has helped lead more than 10 acquisitions, supported over $300 million in capital raises, and played a key role in scaling organizations through stronger systems, better reporting, and more accountable performance management.
Daniel is known as a hands-on, data-driven leader who brings clarity to complexity and partners closely with executive teams to support long-term value creation.
