Jill Tavey has over 10 years of success in finance for various organizations in many industries, including a strong background in manufacturing. Her ability to negotiate, make and maintain key relationships, and shape strategic direction has helped propel multiple companies through significant growth.
Before joining Preferred CFO, Jill worked on the finance team of a large manufacturing company located in Orem, Utah. In her roles as VP of Accounting, Controller, and Acting CFO, Jill helped initiate partnerships that resulted in hundreds of thousands of dollars in savings, negotiated and closed four debt agreements totaling $24MM, and established the KPIs, pricing models, and financial forecasting that helped support the company’s success.
Jill’s experience includes strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting, raising capital, risk mitigation, audit management, and process improvement.
Jill holds a Master of Accounting from the University of Utah and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
