Steven Senft is an expert CFO with more than a decade of experience spanning financial planning and analysis, accounting operations, and performance reporting. His background includes leadership roles across consumer electronics, aviation, and other operationally complex businesses, where he has helped organizations improve financial visibility, strengthen reporting, and support smarter decision-making.

Steven specializes in turning complex financial data into practical business insight. His experience includes budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, cash flow management, KPI reporting, financial modeling, and process improvement. He is especially strong in building clear reporting structures, improving cross-functional visibility, and using tools like Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, NetSuite, and QuickBooks to make finance functions more efficient and more useful to leadership teams.

Prior to joining Preferred CFO, Steven held senior FP&A and controller roles at ZAGG, Elevate Aviation Group, The Front Climbing Club, and Connor Group. In previous roles, he led annual budgeting and executive reporting processes, supported top-line forecasting across multiple business units, developed KPI dashboards, and helped shorten the FP&A close cycle by 40 percent through automation and process standardization. Known for his technical skill set and hands-on approach, Steven helps clients build a stronger financial foundation and use data more effectively to support growth.
