Ray Ratan is an experienced CFO with exceptional success in the SaaS industry. He has helped multiple companies grow from pre-financing and early growth to strategic sales and successful IPOs. Some of Ray’s most notable achievements include leading SaaS startup connectbase from pre-financing to 100% growth rate year-over-year while leading them through multiple investment rounds, growing SaaS company Global Capacity from $50M to $300M in revenue and assisting Yankee Candle Company.
Ray has led companies to rapid growth and IPOs using strategies that include organic growth, raising equity and debt, strategic financial models, systems and reporting development as well as strategic mergers and acquisitions. He also has significant experience in finance and data mining system implementation, with expertise in software such as Oracle, Netsuite, Sage, Great Plains, Quickbooks, Xero, SQL, Tableau, SPSS, Altereyx, and more.
Ray earned his MBA at the Yale School of Management and completed his coursework in accounting at UC Berkley. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He also has a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering.
