Tom is a knowledgeable finance leader with over 30 years of experience. He has international expertise in a wide variety of industries, including construction, real estate, manufacturing, online services, financial services, and natural gas.
Tom is experienced in financial analysis, process improvement, problem-solving, negotiation, full cycle accounting and reporting, as well as IFRS, audits, compliance, GAAP, SEC reporting, and more. He has managed finances for US-based and international entities from $15M to $3B, and specializes in ensuring compliance while resolving variances, refining forecasts, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Tom has demonstrated success in foreign currency transaction and translation gains/losses, currency exchange rates, transfer pricing exposure and cross-border agreements, statutory to U.S. GAAP reconciliations, IFRS, multi-ledger design and implementation, and local tax compliance requirements and filing deadlines.
As well as strong financial skills, Tom also has extensive leadership and systems implementation experience.
